This page is our privacy promise in plain words — the same one shown to every parent at signup. No legal fog. If anything here is unclear, write to us and a human answers.
📦 What we store
Learner profiles (name, class), learning progress (answers, scores, mastery maps), the school books and exam dates you enter, optional voice recordings you choose to enrol, and live-class transcripts. That's the list — there is no shadow list.
🎯 Why we store it
Only to teach: planning lessons, re-teaching what slipped, preparing exams, and reporting honestly to you. Nothing is used for advertising, profiling beyond learning, engagement optimisation, or sold or shared with data brokers — ever. Our business model is your subscription, full stop.
👀 Who can see it
You and your children. Our AI processing runs on Microsoft Azure under enterprise privacy terms — your family's data is not used to train their models, or anyone's. Our own staff access is limited to what operating the service requires.
⏳ How long it lives
Live-class transcripts delete themselves after 90 days, automatically. Learning progress stays as long as you keep the account — it IS the tutor's memory of your child. Everything else exists only while it serves you.
🗑️ Your right to erase
One action deletes a learner and every trace of them — profile, progress, voice recordings, transcripts — permanently and immediately. No retention games, no 30-day "grace periods" holding your data hostage.
🧒 Children, specifically
Accounts are created only by a parent or guardian with explicit, recorded consent — we design to the strictest child-privacy standards anywhere, with India's DPDP Act as our baseline and GDPR-grade practice as our bar. Children never enter into any agreement themselves, and the child-facing app contains no purchases, no ads, and no external links.
✍️ Original content, by construction
Everything Guruvu teaches — lessons, questions, papers, stories — is composed freshly by our AI for your child. We never reproduce textbook content or published question banks; the books you register are used only as a factual list of what to teach.
📮 Grievances & questions
Write to contactus@beingagents.ai. A human — the founder — reads it and responds within 7 days. That address also handles all DPDP data requests.
Trust is our product spec.
The same honesty rule that governs Guruvu's reports governs this page. If we ever change our practices, this page changes first — and every family is told.
